Established in 1994 by President and CEO, Darwyn Williams, Environmental Waste Solutions has had the opportunity to save millions of dollars for companies from coast to coast. EWS affiliates are trained to scrutinize the approach that companies take to waste and recycling, saving them money and earning EWS commissions on savings. Although Environmental Waste Solutions is headquartered in Baton Rouge and Florida, our affiliates are located across the United States and Canada—taking full advantage of the increasing demand for efficient waste management in virtually every market. In addition to 13 years of service with Environmental Waste Solutions, Mr. Williams has constructed the foundation of EWS on 20 years of corporate cost reduction and nearly 15 years experience reducing waste management costs for companies throughout the country. Environmental Waste Solutions is prepared to offer our affiliates the service needed to help them realize their full potential as business waste consultants. In addition, we are extremely interested in new affiliates as well. Mr. Darwyn WilliamsPresident & CEO Prior to founding EWS, Mr. Williams served as the CEO of one of the fastest growing cost reduction firms in the country (an "Inc. 500" winner for three consecutive years). He has been a popular national public speaker for over 20 years and has specialized in corporate cost reduction of waste management and recycling expenses for almost 15 years. Mr. Williams has been featured in Inc., Entrepreneur, Business Start-Ups, and Opportunity Magazines discussing his cutting-edge cost reduction techniques. He is highly regarded as a leader in corporate cost reduction and founded this industry of waste management consulting. Mr. Williams has a BS in Economics and Business Law. Mrs. Diana ShapiroVice President Mrs. Shapiro has over 15 years of sales experience in “Corporate America” and has been with EWS since 2001. She is responsible for managing the team of National Sales Directors that aid EWS Affiliates in closing joint venture accounts. She is also responsible for screening new prospective affiliates that are interested in becoming EWS Affiliates. Prior to EWS, Mrs. Shapiro ran her own successful EWS Affiliate business with her husband in Southern California. She has worked in Corporate Sales for Merrill Lynch, Spherion Corporation, and Capital Management Sciences selling stocks, technology solutions, and fixed income portfolio analytic software. Mr. Allen BanfieldVice President of Operations Mr. Banfield joined the EWS team in 2000 after spending his entire adult career in the operational side of the waste and recycling industry. His twenty years of operational experience uniquely qualify Mr. Banfield to manage EWS’s Account Management Team – the largest division of EWS. Mr. Banfield and his staff are charged with working with the joint venture clients that EWS Affiliates bring to EWS in order to uncover the errors and savings opportunities in those clients’ accounts. Mr. Banfield has had an enormous impact in the organization and management of the practices and processes that have made EWS so successful. Mr. Douglas MaherDirector of Affiliate Development Mr. Maher virtually grew up in the waste business, and now has over 10 years professional experience in the solid waste and recycling industry. He is responsible for managing the EWS Support Division, which is charged with aiding EWS Affiliates in their local practices as well as aiding them in generating joint venture accounts. Prior to joining EWS, Mr. Maher spent many years working with one of the largest national waste hauling firms in the country. He has received numerous sales achievement and performance related awards, and he continues to motivate and train the EWS Affiliate base in their ongoing businesses.
