You’ve seen people litter before, we all have, and many of us have done it ourselves. Maybe the trashcan was full or we didn’t want to leave it in our car, and a Styrofoam cup or crumpled piece of paper ended up on the ground. Or maybe you’ve been in a parking lot that was strewn with people’s garbage, with newspapers and coffee cups floating in puddles and blowing across the pavement.
Some people might look at a parking lot or a strip of road dotted with trash and shrug to themselves, thinking “what’s a little trash?” or “it will bio-degrade,” but EWS hopes to prevent businesses from taking the same nonchalant attitude. Sure, a parking lot cluttered with a few plastic bags might not look too bad, but imagine if everyone thought that way? Imagine how messy our communities would be if waste was the norm. We would be completely surrounded by it.
In the same way, if everyone thinks a little differently about waste, we would all reduce the effect that it has on our environment. We would transform the bad habit of litter into the good habits of conservation and recycling. That’s why EWS makes a point to help businesses adopt a progressive and concerned approach to waste. Why contribute to the problem of waste when you can be a part of the solution and save money in the process?
We like to compare our service to the volunteer picking up trash on the side of the road. The less waste there is, the better the road looks. It works the same way in a business. We find the source of waste and clean it up, leaving the business better than it was before.

The presidential race is getting closer and closer to the end; throughout the entire race, both candidates have proved that they are clearly two entirely different individuals. However, no matter how different our presidential candidates are, one common issue stands out across the board, that issue is the environment.

Related to the issue of the environment is the very important matter of waste management and recycling. More than ever before, our attention has been actively turned to reversing the damage that’s been done to the environment from time, mistreatment, pollution and waste.
Even though two men standing behind podiums in sharp looking suits will promise to do something about the environment—nothing will change if we don’t attempt to make change for ourselves. It’s one thing to look to one person to make a difference and another thing entirely to wonder, “What can I possibly do?” At EWS we like to remind our clients that every little change, and every business that takes a closer look at recycling, can and will make a difference.
EWS has been proving for years that businesses can make a change in the way they operate. They can make a change that is efficient, profitable, and significant. We’ve proven that businesses don’t need to spend in order to do their part in helping the environment (they can save instead). Our affiliates have convinced businesses of all sizes that a difference can be made at no cost at all, and it really doesn’t take any effort at all.
When there’s nothing to lose, why not try to make business a little more efficient? Like we said, the promises we hear from politicians on TV and see in the papers are inspiring and encouraging. But, large scale change will only happen when individual businesses make a point of taking part. Environmental Waste Solutions makes making a difference as easy as a phone call and as rewarding as saving up to thousands of dollars.
Why wait?

When we wake up in the morning one of the first things we do is shower. There’s nothing wrong with that, actually, it’s quite good. Nobody can complain about being clean.
But where does all the water go? If we never think about our consumption, insignificant rituals like taking a shower in the morning can have much more of an impact than we may think.
Every morning we consume what we can’t get back. We use gallons of water, shampoo, body soap, and facial cleansers. The water goes down the drain, and when the soap and shampoo containers are empty-what do we do with them? We throw them away. There’s nothing wrong with a nice shower; it’s something we have to do, but think of all the people who shower every morning and it’s easy to see how much we as people consume every day.
In the very same way, businesses consume every day. Just like people shower to begin their day, businesses consume to produce their product. Nowadays it’s becoming clearer and clearer that with all we consume, recycling is something that must be done. While it would be nice if we could say the majority of people recycle-it doesn’t always happen that way. Based on our daily routines and the very simple fact that we are always consuming something, it goes a long way to realize that waste is a significant part of our daily lives. Waste is something we can’t help but create, however, we can try to make a difference by reducing the amount of waste we produce.
EWS is here to help make that difference. When businesses don’t know what can and can’t be recycled, EWS does. In the same way, when clients create a bi-product they think they can’t use in their business, EWS affiliates can find a business that can. EWS affiliates make sure that businesses are as efficient as they possibly can be. We help businesses recycle where they thought they couldn’t and save money where they never thought it was possible.

Everyone’s trying to be a little better. They’re driving less, recycling more, and thinking more about their daily impact on the environment and the world. More and more people are beginning to look beyond themselves and into the health of everyone and everything around them. However, even though so many businesses and households are making a point to do their part, they still tend to overlook one important detail, and that detail is waste. More often than not, even though businesses are trying to conserve, they still end up being wasteful, especially when it comes down to what’s in the trashcan.
Many businesses will make the switch to eco-friendly production materials, recycled utensils; corn based plastic products, and more. It’s true—steps are being made in the right direction, and the importance of the environment has been impressed on more people than we’ve ever seen in the past. Even still, at EWS we like to think that everything can almost always be a little bit more efficient.
If you’ve ever watched a sporting event-from Olympic Swimming to Hockey, you’ll notice a painstaking attention to detail and a clear attempt to maximize efficiency. Athletes take every step in order to shave seconds off their final time or get the smallest edge over the competition. In the very same way, EWS takes every step to make businesses as efficient as possible, allowing them to save money and help the environment at the same time.
Even though many businesses are paying more attention to conservation, many still continue to throw far too much into the trashcan without thinking. Instead of effectively and efficiently recycling, they do what they’re used to doing, and to be honest-we don’t blame them. The options for recycling aren’t always obvious, and many times it takes someone like an EWS affiliate to help businesses take full advantage of the opportunities out there.
We’re not saying you should go digging through your dumpster, but if you did you would notice that much more recycling can be done. Think of how much this translates to in a business setting and the potential becomes clear. Why waste when you can save?

It’s that time of year again. Soon, everyone will be seeing busses on the streets and schoolyards full. As the year progresses, kids across the country are going back to school— some are going to learn to tie their shoes and say the alphabet while others are going to learn quantum physics and modern philosophy. While students are going back to school to learn very different things, the fact remains that they are going to learn, and a lot can be said about that.
We’ve all learned quite a bit through life and in school. But if you keep your ears open you’re bound to hear some well known quote that reminds us that we can always learn more. We’ve all heard that learning unlocks potential. That could mean anything from having the potential potential to create something or look at a problem a little differently. In any case, EWS has made it our job to teach our clients, while learning for ourselves how to make the most of what we do. Just like students everywhere learn to discover their potential, EWS hopes to do the same for our clients.
It’s easy for clients to think they know all there is to know about their business, but as EWS consistently proves—there really is always something to learn. We’ve saved money for successful companies across the country. They didn’t get to where they are because they’re bad at their job, it doesn’t work that way. However, there’s always something more to learn to make everything more efficient and effective. Everything can be done just a little smarter. Like a teacher, EWS has enjoyed helping our clients reach their full potential by ensuring that they don’t waste when it comes to waste.

If you open the newspaper on any particular day you’ll be welcomed to a world of facts, figures, and insights that always seem to have a way of getting lost in the mix.
We can’t remember them all. By observing what’s going on—such as by reading the newspaper or watching the nightly news, we take in a lot. More often than not, we take in so much every day that it becomes virtually impossible to keep track of it all.
When it comes down to it, we live in a world where our countless concerns can quickly become growing sources of anxiety and worry. As the list of things to remember continues to grow, it becomes increasingly harder to manage them. Many of us have had the experience of forgetting to pack something for vacation. No matter how much order you think there is when you pack your belongings into suitcases and carry them any number of miles, something always manages to get misplaced or forgotten. As the pile of concerns gets bigger and bigger, it always seems to become easier to let the little things fall through the cracks. We’ve all forgotten things, and too often it’s the little things we tend to forget that always seem to become an annoying problem. It’s the same for waste. Businesses that allow inefficient waste management go unnoticed end up paying in the long run.
The very fact that we can’t keep track of everything is one simple reason why EWS exists. We are the safety net that ensures that businesses don’t suffer from the simple fact that things do get a bit overwhelming. Waste is easy to forget, especially when businesses have other things to worry about. When a business owner or manager is nearly overwhelmed by the inevitable concerns that confront us every day, there’s nothing more refreshing than a helping hand. What we offer is free and what’s even better is the fact that it’s even easier to sell. EWS helps businesses keep up with the constant flow of worry and concern, and in our case—the only possible outcome is a positive one. Whether the benefit is a greener company or a more efficient one, EWS affiliates can help make a difference.

Every day, we handle the products of someone saving. Have you ever been to a cookout where you used a paper plate? More than likely, that plate was recycled. In the same way, you’ve probably had a bottle of water. Once again, the bottle you drank from was probably a recycled one. More and more, companies are using recycled materials to manufacture the products we buy and use every single day.
While companies rely more and more on recycled materials, it’s become clear that recycling is not only important—it’s profitable. With more companies using more recycled materials, it makes sense that increased recycling will lead to increased opportunities.
That’s where EWS can help. We train our affiliates to know all about waste management— everything from the costs and the risks, to the opportunities to save vast amounts of money. By scrutinizing waste streams, EWS affiliates can earn big by simply introducing businesses to the true potential of efficient waste management and recycling. Over the years we’ve learned that saving is easy, you just have to know how. With EWS, it’s as easy as looking at trash a bit differently.
Clients in the past have been shocked to learn how much money businesses waste every year on inefficient waste management. They’ve seen that money that could have been spent on their business had instead been thrown into the trash and whisked away to the dump. For EWS affiliates, waste is much more than trash; more often than not, waste presents on opportunity—an opportunity that EWS affiliates are trained to cash in on for their clients.
And the best part?
It’s free.

Turn on the TV around dinnertime and what will you see? Chances are, on at least a channel or two you’ll see game shows that pit contests against one another to see who can win the most money.
It’s entertaining, but what does it prove? Some people love money, some people need money, and others just want to be comfortable. Either way, it’s always nice to have money to spend. At EWS we feel the same way, that’s why we make it our job to help our clients save the money they didn’t know they were wasting.
If you wanted to take a vacation and saw two identical plane tickets for sale, one more expensive than the other, would you buy the expensive one? Probably not. Nobody likes over-spending, and when there are plenty of options available, what’s the point? When it comes to more efficient waste management, EWS is here to let clients know that there are options, and plenty of them. In our age of information, we have the ability to get what we need from more sources than we can even count. But when it comes to waste, the thought process usually ends at the trashcan. Waste is only just starting to be considered as something that can be wasted, and EWS is capable of helping businesses make the most of it.
Think about your favorite travel website. Or maybe you have a go-to source for cheap books or movies. In any case, everyone likes having the ability to get something for less. When it comes to waste management, cheap isn’t always an option. In fact—the options aren’t always obvious. EWS affiliates are trained to be just like that favorite website—the one reliable source for risk-free savings. By scrutinizing waste streams, EWS affiliates provide clients with the options that they were never aware of, allowing them to spend or save the money they never even knew they had.

Everything costs money, we all know that. Some things cost more than others—but the facts remain the same. Even though we’re all used to paying for everything, from the miles we drive to work to the coffee we pick up on the way, times are tough. With the rising price of gas, food, and everything in between, we’re reminded every day that everything has a cost—no matter how small, and all of those small costs will always add up in the end.

That’s what we focus on at EWS. We’ve come to realize that the small things, the things so many people tend to forget, are the very same things that can become a problem in the long run. We remind our clients that waste adds up, and it can cost a lot. Have you ever had a pile of unwanted junk sitting in a basement, back yard, or garage? Chances are it cost money to get rid of. Maybe it didn’t cost a lot, but we’re willing to bet it wasn’t exactly free.
Businesses experience the same thing, but on an even larger scale. We have to take our trash out every week and at times we can produce a lot of trash, but businesses have to deal with the cost of operating full time. That includes the cost of waste management—a cost some businesses tend to take for granted. EWS affiliates are dedicated to scrutinizing every aspect of a business’s waste management plan to make sure it’s as efficient as possible.
Think about it this way. You pay the electric bill, but you try not to leave lights on all day. Why? Because leaving all the lights on would be wasteful, and efficiency saves money. In the same way, businesses pay to have their waste disposed of, but waste management can be more efficient too. EWS affiliates are like frugal homeowners, shutting off the lights that nobody’s using. But instead of shutting off lights, they pinpoint wasteful spending and find a solution—saving time and money, and helping the environment in the process.

Do you think you would enjoy living like a caveman? You know…. only the bare essentials? Just enough food to keep from starving, the clothes to keep you warm, and a home that will do no more than offer the necessary shelter. Why punish yourself if you don’t have to? Everyone enjoys a little bit of comfort, or at least an indulgence from time to time.

We all enjoy living with the many comforts that we’ve grown to rely and depend on. Maybe we have even started to take them for granted. Either way, when it comes down to it, no matter how comfortable we are without having to worry about wasting a little bit of food, electricity, or gas—the effects of waste remain the same.
Here at EWS, our goal is to help businesses benefit from the fact that doing a bit of good and living well are more than possible; they’re profitable as well. No matter how well a business is doing, our goal is to serve as a constant reminder that excess can, and will, take a toll. You can only live (or operate a business) for so long without worrying about excess and waste.
Take for instance a boy who grows up eating entirely too much ice cream and candy. While he’s young, and if he enjoys tooth brushing as much as candy, there might not be too many negative effects. But imagine him as an adult. A person can’t live a life of excess without it catching up to them, and neither can a business. If a business ignores waste for too long, they will undoubtedly experience the consequences down the road, even if they don’t realize it.
EWS ensures that businesses avoid the expense of overlooking waste. Through more efficient and effective recycling, as well as our materials exchange program, EWS helps businesses have a positive impact not only on the environment, but on their finances as well. EWS helps businesses operate efficiently and successfully without allowing wasteful habits to take a significant toll.
